Julia Cruger
Julia Grinnell Storrow Cruger (c. 1850 – July 12, 1920) was a popular American novelist who wrote under the pseudonym Julien Gordon. Her first book was ''A Diplomat's Diary'' (1890); other titles she wrote include ''Vampires'' (1891) and ''Mrs. Clyde'' (1901).
A grandniece of Washington Irving, she was the daughter of Thomas Wentworth Storrow of Boston and born in Paris. She married Civil War veteran Col. Stephen Van Rensselaer Cruger, who died in 1898.〔(24 June 1898). (Death of S.V.R.
